Privacy Policy

AlleyCat Studio is a one-person game studio based in Greece. This page explains what data Purrfusion collects, why, and how it's handled. If anything here is unclear, contact alleycatdigital.gr@gmail.com.

What we collect

Purrfusion does not ask you to create an account, and does not collect your name, email, or any directly identifying information. What it does store:

• An anonymous device ID. Generated automatically via Firebase Anonymous Authentication the first time you play. It's a random string, not tied to your identity.
• Your game progress. Coins, gems, level, and the cats you've collected. Saved locally on your device, and backed up to our database (Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore) under your anonymous ID so progress survives a reinstall.

The recovery code

Purrfusion has no login system. Instead, your anonymous ID doubles as a recovery code: entering it on a new device pulls your saved progress back down. This means anyone who has your recovery code can access and change that save — treat it like a password and don't share it publicly.

Advertising

Purrfusion shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as your advertising ID) to show and measure ads, and may personalize ads based on your settings and region. This data collection is handled by Google, not by us directly. You can review how Google handles this data in Google's Privacy Policy, and manage ad personalization in your device's settings.

In-app purchases

Purrfusion offers optional gem purchases through Google Play Billing. Payment details (card numbers, billing information) are handled entirely by Google — we never see or store this information ourselves.

Children's privacy

Purrfusion is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the game uses no accounts or personal information, there's minimal data collected from any player regardless of age beyond the anonymous save data described above.

Your rights

If you're in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data under GDPR. Since saves are tied only to an anonymous ID with no personal information attached, we can't look up a save by name or email — but if you contact us with your recovery code, we can delete that specific save data on request.

Data retention

Save data is kept for as long as your anonymous account exists, or until you request deletion. Inactive saves may be periodically removed.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
